Monday Madness [Our Greatest Fear]

¡Hola! Everybody…
This week promises to be a challenging one at work. As I prepare, I take special care to remind myself of what truly matters and use that as the foundation for my actions. Have a great week everyone.

I was communicating with a 360 friend here yesterday and I was reminded of the following quote. I usually post it a few times a year, and for a long time I had it framed on my office wall (I have since given it away).

The quote is often erroneously attributed to the great Nelson Mandela, who used it as part of his inauguration speech. My wish is that whomever reads this, finds a way to burn it into the deepest recesses of their heart…

-=[ Our Greatest Fear ]=-
“Fear lies not in reality,
but in the minds of children
who do not understand reality.”

-- A Course in Miracles

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
